Senator Jim Mehlhaff from District 24 visited Mrs. Quinn's Senior Government class. He discussed his early career and what led him to the SD Legislature. He also answered questions about issues in state government. He was a newly elected member of the South Dakota legislature in 2023.

Parent-Teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, September 28 from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Elementary teachers will be in their classrooms while the Middle and High School teachers will be in the middle-high school gym. Elementary teachers will be sending notifications to parents to sign up for a specific time. PLEASE NOTE: elementary students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m., and Middle-High School students will be dismissed at 12:40 p.m.

The spring shooting was extremely successful with many of our athletes placing in state. Notable Mentions: Spring 2023 Team Awards: 2nd place Conference Skeet; 1st Place Conference 5-Stand; 2nd place State 5-Stand
Wyatt Mortenson is the new state tournament SKEET record holder shooting 99 out of 100.
The extra summer shooting programs were also a success with top honors going to Witt Meyers winning a SCTP champion belt buckle.
Bus will leave at 7:15am for the Jamboree in Gettysburg on Saturday for our MS and JV football players! Please share and Go Buffs!
