Thank you to 2022 Stanley County Graduate, Andruw Fredericksen for stopping by the kindergarten classes on Monday to visit the students and answer their questions. Private Fredericksen is now a Marine and is on leave before heading to North Carolina.
The Middle-High School October Students and Staff of the Month have been named. Students are selected based on the ROAMS categories of respect, ownership, achievement, mindfulness, and safety. Staff members are chosen by the students of the month. Recipients are pictured left-right. Thanksgiving Invite
Ms. Volmer took the Stanley County HOSA officers to the 2022 Fall Leadership/Officer Training in Huron Monday, November 7. Officers attending were Reese Hand, Morgan Hoffman, Keira Briggs, and Kaysen Magee. The morning session included leadership training with approximately 75 other HOSA students. After lunch, students rotated through 4 hands-on stations involving Stop the Bleed/Clinical Skills/Trauma Assessment; Dental Science where they learned to make an Alginate impression; Sports Medicine learning to tape an ankle and lastly clinical nursing learning how to give an intramuscular injection.

Due to possible weather issues, the school board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 9 at Cheyenne School has been changed to the Parkview board room at 6:00 p.m.
Hayden Roggow, Racheal Runge, Tessa Rasmussen, and Riley Runge represented SC at the 70th annual All-State Chorus event. The concert was held on October 29th. Congratulations to these individuals.
We are hosting two SODAK16 volleyball matches tomorrow in Parkview! First match is Rapid City Christian vs Elk Point-Jefferson at 5pm with Wolsey-Wessington vs Timber Lake to follow at 6:30pm! The matches can be found on gobuffslive.com tomorrow as well. $6 for adults, $4 for students.

October 2022 Elementary Staff of the Month - Miss Kim is kind to the other staff members. She has been a great addition to our SC Family. She is willing to help staff where help is needed. She has built a great rapport with the students she works with. She is observant and jumps in to help students when needed and is willing to try new things! Thank you, Kim. We appreciate you!!
