Parents & Guardians,
Did you know that SC offers free ebooks and audiobooks to students? Our digital collection is available 24/7 and all you need to get started is an internet connection and your child's student email and ID. Check it out by downloading Sora, the student reading app. Digital books are compatible with smartphones, tablets, eReaders, and computers. Titles can be read right in the internet browser or downloaded using the free Sora app. At the end of the lending period, titles automatically expire so there are never any late fees. Our digital library connects students with a collection of reading materials to supplement their studies, as well as offering the kind of titles they would find in a public library for pleasure reading. If you have questions, please reach out to our librarian Mrs. Mona Smith at Mona.J.Smith@k12.sd.us

Junior, Wyatt Mortenson, earned the Conference High Award with an average score of 46.6 hit targets out of 50. Coach Johnson commented, “We had a great mix of seasoned shooters and talented rookies this fall. We only held two practices before the competitions, so our young men stepped up. I hope the community recognizes how the team has represented Stanley County in a positive and competitive manner this fall. We are looking forward to the 2024 spring season.” Team members are pictured left to right - Mason Stoeser, Jace Nickolas, Mason Schwinler, Kooper Meyers, and Wyatt Mortenson.
