Tonight's Double Header with Crow Creek begins at 4pm with JV BOYS. There is NO JV girls. Varsity girls and boys games will follow the JV Boys games. Go Buffs!
Gabi Irving & Raegan Taylor were selected to complete a 2-week legislative page term with the SD Legislature. They had a first-hand look at the legislative process in our state. As pages, they attended daily floor sessions and assisted legislators and staff as needed in committee meetings. They also experienced working in the legislative post office, answering phones and delivering messages. Both students agreed it was a fun, learning experience.

2024 Kindergarten Round-up
The SC Booster Club Soup Cook-Off will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024. The cost is $5 for a bottomless bowl of soup. Serving time begins at 4:30 and ends when the soup runs out. This is a fun/family event that is held in conjunction with the basketball doubleheader and the induction of Sam Ostarello (class of 2009) into the Hall of Fame.
No school for Stanley County Schools on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. Due to a water main break, we need to shut down the power for a day. We will continue with evening activities.

There will be NO Middle School Boys games tonight @ Lower Brule. We are working on a postponement date. There is NO middle school boys practice today or tomorrow.
There will be NO JV/V girls games tonight @ Sully Buttes. We are working on a postponement date. Practice is after school in the Elementary Gym. HS boys will practice after school in Parkview.

Summer Meals 2024
Stanley County Students will take the stage at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2024, at Riggs Theater. The public is welcome to watch however, you must be in the theater before the play starts. Doors will not be allowed to open after the start time. No photos or recordings are allowed due to copyright issues. After the performance, the judges will critique the play in the theater lobby. All are welcome to listen to the critique.
Updates to MS and HS boys basketball schedules...
We were not able to find a date to make-up the MS boys basketball games with Chamberlain that were to be played last week. That game is canceled for this season.
Boys JV/V Basketball will now play Bennett County on February 5 to make up for the game lost at the Jones County Invite. This will be played in Martin, and JV begins at 6:00pm CST with varsity to follow.
Tomorrow's Jones County Invite boys basketball game has been canceled due to weather. We will decide who the 5th place winner is when we play Lyman later in the season at home. We will also be working on picking up another game to fill our 20 regular season games we are allowed to have. Please share!
