The 2022 Stanley County High School Homecoming Royalty was selected at coronation festivities Tuesday, September 20. Kori Endres was chosen as queen and Colt Norman was selected as king. The two will preside over Buffalo Homecoming festivities the balance of the week. The royal court includes Olivia Chase, Aleeyah Schilling, Abby Wyly, Nathaniel Nelson, Jackson Robbennolt and Max Scott. Second grade crown bearers were Audree Prince & Cruz Odden.
Tuesdays/Thursdays from 7:00-7:30am, there will be open gym for any student interested in Parkview. Thanks!

Homecoming Week Activities!

Stanley County is having a homecoming parade competition and here are the categories.
Elementary- Best cheer. The prize is a pizza party for the class and the teacher or teachers for that class gets a scooters gift card.
Middle school/high school-Best float. Prize will be a pizza party for the class and scooters gift cards to the class advisors.
Community - Combination of Best spirit and Best float. This can be for any community member or business who wants to enter a float. Prize will be a traveling trophy.
Judges will be Michael Roggow, Lacy walker, and Randi Norman. The winner will be announced at half time of the football game.
Homecoming 2022 Parade Lineup - Floats are to enter the lineup by entering on Seventh Ave from the highway, turn right on Missouri, and then proceeding to 5th St. Get in line wherever you can find a spot after the elementary. No floats are to come down 5th or 6th to line up, as it is very congested.

Start the Homecoming week off right by coming and getting your windows painted by the SC Football Cheerleaders this Sunday, September 18th, starting at 3:00pm. We will be in the Parkview parking lot, and it is a free will donation. Go Buffs!

Please join us for Enrichment Friday – September 16 – 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get help and turn in missing assignments.

EMT class will begin October 17th and complete in April. Will be taught at Ft. Pierre Fire Station. There will be an informational meeting Monday September 12th at 7:00pm at the Ft. Pierre Fire Station. Attendance at this meeting will answer all questions. If for some reason you can not attend you may call Joe Meligan at 605 280 0440. You can be 17 years or older to take the class. You must be 18 to take the test when you complete the course.
An amendment to the Public Participation at Board Meetings policy will be on the agenda for next week’s board meeting Wednesday September 14th.
The prior notice time frame has a clerical error. Anyone who wishes to speak there is sign-in sheet available in the business office and will be available prior to the meeting as well.
