A Polar Plunge Fundraiser for Special Olympics will take place on April 29 at the American Legion Cabin in Pierre. Stanley County School has plunge volunteers including Mitch Kleinsasser, Sarah Beck, Joey Fischer, Erin Herr, and Max Foth. The person with the most money in their bucket will be taking the plunge. If you would like to donate to the Special Olympics, there is a bucket with each of these volunteers’ names in the Middle-High School Principal’s Office. Donations will be collected by April 28. Good luck to all!

The Stanley County Student Council sponsored a collection drive for Missouri Shores this past quarter. Staff, students, and community members donated 296 pounds of items to the organization. Ms. Huber’s first-grade class won the elementary competition and was awarded a pizza party by the student council for their efforts. Thank you so much for your generosity when one of our own is in need. We were able to raise almost $10,000 to help Ms. Shari Beeghly. She is very appreciative of all of you. All classes at SC battled in this change war including elementary, middle, and high school. In the end, both 4th grade classes were the winners and received pizza and ice cream.
