October 03 – All SD colleges/universities/tech schools will have ‘No-Fee Applications’ until November 30. This IS THE TIME to apply for post-secondary schooling. If you think you might possibly go to a university/tech school – APPLY!
September Elementary Staff Member of the Month - Mrs. Roberts does a wonderful job in her JK classroom, helping in other classrooms, and sharing her ice cream cake! She is able to work with our youngest and busiest students while staying calm and keeping a smile on her face!

Picture Retake Day Reminders: New students or students who were absent during the original picture day/s should come to the high school gym on Retake Day, OCTOBER 17.
Students who would like a retake must bring their original portrait packet to the camera and return it to the photographer.
On Monday, October 3, 2022, The Secretary of State Steve Barnett will be at Stanley County High school to help in the Voter registration Drive. Stanley county will be hosting a Voter registration Drive. It will be held in the Old gym at the high school from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Secretary of State’s office Voter registration information can be found on the Secretary of State’s website at www.sdsos.gov. A voter registration form can be downloaded from the website and returned to your county auditor. The deadline for voter registration in South Dakota is 15 days prior to any election you wish to vote in.

Mrs. Gloe’s 2nd-grade class would like to thank Representative Mike Weisgram for visiting their classroom. He read a book about the House of Representatives and their duties. He also shared what his specific duties are and answered many questions. Representative Weisgram made learning about our government a lot of fun!

The 2022 Stanley County High School Homecoming Royalty was selected at coronation festivities Tuesday, September 20. Kori Endres was chosen as queen and Colt Norman was selected as king. The two will preside over Buffalo Homecoming festivities the balance of the week. The royal court includes Olivia Chase, Aleeyah Schilling, Abby Wyly, Nathaniel Nelson, Jackson Robbennolt and Max Scott. Second grade crown bearers were Audree Prince & Cruz Odden.
Tuesdays/Thursdays from 7:00-7:30am, there will be open gym for any student interested in Parkview. Thanks!
