Mrs. Gloe's 2nd-grade class read “The Butter Battle Book” and made butter. They loved the bread and butter snack (butter was made from heavy whipping cream – very sweet). Students then flipped the buttered bread to see if it landed on butter side up or butter side down. They kept track on a graph. The butter side up won with 8 vs 7 for butter side down.
