This award recognizes high school seniors who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. These students are selected by their teachers and peers because they demonstrate these qualities to an outstanding degree.

IHS offers 3 scholarships for American Indian and Alaska Native students in order to educate and train health professionals.

Scholarships are awarded based solely on 550-word essays expressing applicants’ academic and professional goals.

Provides scholarships for students pursuing a career in engineering

To qualify for this scholarship you must be going to a South Dakota University or Tech School -- ACT score of at least a 24, meet the Regents Scholar curriculum with no final grade below a “C” and acumulative GPA of 3.0.

Native American college and technical student of any age, any tribe and in any state who has financial need and a minimum GPA of 3.25.

Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.
