Thank you to Representative Mike Weisgram for visiting our school. Mrs. Maher’s fourth grade has studied the three branches of government and were curious to hear from him about the legislative branch.
They were very interested the representative’s experiences helping constituents move their ideas into a bill and then convincing other legislators to make it a law.
Some shared their own ideas with him. A number of students told him they would consider running for office when they get older.
