Ruby Bonn wins RCPT contest

In September, River Cities Public Transit held a “Design a Bus” contest in the Fort Pierre/Pierre area.  Students could submit a drawing into the contest, and the winners chosen would be a part of a collage that would be put on a transit bus.   It was revealed on Thursday, November 12, Stanley County Schools 1st place winner was Ruby Bonn, 3rd grade student and 2nd place went to Aspen Lenz, 5th grade student.  For Ruby’s 1st place winnings, she received a $75 Walmart gift card and a $25 Dairy Queen gift card.  Ruby is pictured with Jess Marlow and Joe Malmassarri from River Cities Transit.  Her design features “Heads Up, Eyes Open When Walking to the Bus”.  Aspen received a $25 Dairy Queen gift card for her 2nd place winning.  Aspen is pictured with River Cities employees Eric Peterson, Joe Malmassarri, and Jess Marlow.  Her design features “Safety First, Keep Your Feet Off the Seat”.  Hats off to these young artists.
