During the week of September 14, Stanley County Middle School students participated in a tobacco prevention assembly as part of the school’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles.
Students learned about the dangers of vaping and tobacco use through the “You and Me, Together Vape-Free” curriculum, which is designed for middle school students. The program was made possible through funding received from the South Dakota Department of Health.
The assembly was presented by Amy, a prevention specialist with Capital Area Counseling Service, and provided students with valuable information and skills to help them make informed, healthy choices.
