Stanley County FFA members represented their chapter at the South Dakota State FFA Contest by competing in the Livestock Evaluation Event.
Four members traveled to the state contest: Hayden Norman, Owen Spencer, Nick Gregg, and John Krieger. During the competition, participants evaluated livestock classes based on structure, muscle, balance, and overall quality, and presented oral reasons to support their decisions. The contest challenged students to apply strong critical‑thinking and communication skills related to the livestock industry. The Stanley County team performed well, earning a 19th place finish out of 60 teams—a commendable accomplishment at the state level.
Additional Stanley County FFA members—James Nemec, Corbin Good, Cayde Keil, Keaton Keil, Emily Nemec, Dakota McEntaffer, and Keaton Keil—did not attend the state contest but continue to be important contributors to the chapter.
Stanley County FFA is proud of all members for their dedication and congratulates the state qualifiers for representing the chapter at the state level.
