Students selected for February demonstrated the ROAMS values—Respect, Ownership, Achievement, Mindfulness, and Safety. Each student received a water bottle courtesy of the Stanley County Booster Club and enjoyed lunch provided by Pizza Ranch. A special thank‑you goes to First Fidelity Bank of Fort Pierre for sponsoring the February water bottles.
Ms. Britany Willis, Special Education Teacher, has been named the February Staff Member of the Month.
Mrs. Willis has successfully managed a large and demanding caseload this year. In addition to her regular teaching responsibilities, she has dedicated countless hours before and after school—as well as many evenings and weekends—to ensure her students receive the support they need. Elementary Principal Mr. Connot noted her remarkable patience and the positive way students respond to her guidance. Parents and grandparents have also expressed their appreciation for the thoughtful, encouraging manner in which she handles situations involving their children. Mrs. Willis is a kind, energetic, and patient educator whose dedication truly stands out.
