November Students of the Month chosen demonstrated the ROAMS values: Respect, Ownership, Achievement, Mindfulness, and Safety. Each student received a water bottle, courtesy of the Stanley County Booster Club and lunch courtesy of Pizza Ranch. Thank you to Fort Pierre Livestock for sponsoring the October water bottles.
Mr. Michael Dowell was selected as the November Staff Member of the Month. Mr. Dowell is recognized for his kindness, compassion, and the meaningful connections he builds with students of all ages. He has a gift for making each child feel valued and special, even after they’ve moved on to the next grade. His students deeply respect him and hold him in the highest regard because he truly teaches from the heart.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. Dowell has taken on the responsibility of leading morning announcements and coordinating the AR reading rewards program. He approaches these roles with enthusiasm, and students eagerly anticipate their turn to assist with announcements. Parents frequently share how much they enjoy listening to him and how impressed they are with the positive impact he has. Many also express how much their children love being in Mr. Dowell’s classroom.
