Homecoming Week Schedule: September 7–12

The theme for this year’s Homecoming is “Game & TV Shows!”,

Street Painting kicks off the festivities on Sunday, September 7 at 3:00 p.m. All Stanley County families are invited to join in the creative fun.

Coronation will be held on Monday, September 8 - 7:00 p.m. - Parkview Auditorium. Following the ceremony and letter burning, the Booster Club will serve cookies and lemonade.

Dress-Up Days:

  • Monday – “Duo Day”: Dress up with a twin or matching partner.

  • Tuesday – “Class Colors”:

    • JK & 6th – Black

    • Kindergarten & 7th – Orange

    • 1st & 8th – Purple

    • 2nd & 9th – Green

    • 3rd & 10th – Yellow

    • 4th & 12th – Blue

    • 5th & 11th – Teal

  • Wednesday – “Hawaiian Day”: Wear your best tropical prints.

  • Thursday – “Patriotic Day”: Show your red, white, and blue pride.

  • Friday – “Spirit Day”: Wear purple and gold to support the Buffaloes!

Parade & Game Day:

The Homecoming Parade will take place on Friday, September 12 at 2:30 p.m. Parade line-up begins at 2:00 p.m. participants should enter the lineup via Seventh Avenue from the highway, turn right on Missouri Avenue, and proceed to 5th Street. Please avoid entering from 5th or 6th Streets due to congestion and safety concerns.

Homecoming week concludes with the Buffaloes vs. Redfield Pheasants football game at 7:00 p.m. on Ole Williamson Field. Come out and cheer on the team!
