The annual Scholarship Night was held May 13, 2025, recognizing the achievements of students and the generous contributions of organizations committed to supporting higher education. This year’s event saw an impressive $65,000 awarded in private scholarships, alongside over $185,000 in university and technical school awards.

One standout recipient was the Build Dakota scholarship winner, an honor that provides full-ride funding for technical education in South Dakota presented to Raegan Taylor. The evening also celebrated four students who have committed to serving their country, proudly signing with the Army National Guard.  Those students include Noah Baldwin, Calvin Grandon, Reese Hand and Wyatt Mortenson.

Six students were honored as Regent Scholars, a prestigious designation that acknowledges academic dedication. Regent scholars include Auston Boxley, Keira Briggs, Alexander Jones, Camryn Norman, Kaysen Magee, and Hayden Roggow.  Additionally, three students are on track to qualify for the South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship, further demonstrating the high caliber of achievement among this year’s graduating class. Those qualifying are Keira Briggs, Kaysen Magee, and Hayden Roggow.

Of the 39 students recognized, an incredible 25 received awards, including graduation cords, signifying their hard work and commitment. Notably, 17 of these students received scholarships, marking a promising beginning to their next chapter in higher education.

Congratulations to all recipients on their well-earned recognition!
